2468 passed a milestone today with our 1,000th customer order on our webstore.
We built our webstore in late April, provoked by the government lock downs in UK and Ireland during the peak of the Covid-19 pandemic. Our pivot meant we could ensure continued supply of products including sustenance, snacks, and our extended range of hygiene and safety supplies to our customers during restrictions on movement of our own vehicles. Many of our customers in essential services – from NHS Hospital Trusts, to essential retailers to logistics – needed to stay operational and functional.
Our pivot to extend to a web store has also meant we have been able to reach new customers, all over the country. We’re very proud our team in operations, customer service, finance, procurement and on the website itself o achieving this milestone.
And most of all thank you most of all to our customers for your orders.
