Role Overview:

We are seeking a Purchasing Administrator to join our Finance team in Dunshaughlin. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the purchasing function, ensuring the timely procurement of goods and services while maintaining excellent relationships with suppliers and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process purchase orders accurately and efficiently.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing, and ensure timely deliveries.
• Maintain and update purchasing records, supplier information, and inventory data.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with relevant departments to ensure optimal inventory levels.
• Assist in resolving supply chain issues, including order discrepancies and supplier performance concerns.
• Work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate invoicing and cost control.
• Provide administrative support to the purchasing team, including report generation and data entry.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements within procurement activities.

Key Requirements:

• Previous experience in a purchasing or administrative role preferred.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with procurement software is an advantage.
• Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
