The main responsibilities of the role are:
- In depth review of the monthly management accounts
- Revenue budget development & forecasting
- Commercial analysis & identify KPI’s for business managers
- Ensure clean & accurate data structure within Finance & Operational Software systems – Stock Management and Best Pricing
- Finance team support… Audit process & assist ad-hoc projects
The role & responsibilities will involve the following duties:
- In-depth commercial analysis of various cost & revenue centres
- Work in partnership with management team across the company to identify the root causes of revenue & cost variances and to provide actionable recommendations to stakeholders
- Identification of trends and forward-looking analysis to support executive decision making
- Establish and maintain key metrics to help provide insights into business performance
- Data driven financial performance reporting for “live” business updates across business
- Review and track CAPEX spend and ROI
- Develop and build annual budget and forecast models
- Continuously identify opportunities to streamline and improve efficiency of our financial processes and seek ways to add more value
- Support production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and a fully reconciled balance sheet
- Assist in audit processes, including responding to auditor enquiries and producing financial statements
- Assist in other ad-hoc projects
Knowledge, skills & experience:
- ACA,CIMA, ACCA or equivalent
- 4 Years PQE+ preferred
- Excellent communicator
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability of working under pressure
- Strong IT skills
- A collaborative cross-functional work style
- Sage Intacct experience an advantage
